Germany - Israel Call for proposals for Joint R&D Projects

Germany and Israel are announcing a Call for Proposals for joint R&D projects, focusing on developing innovative products and applications in all technological and application areas. Applicants are expected to develop ready to market solutions or projects which have strong market potential for Germany, Israel and Europe and will be labeled in EUREKA, a pan European network for market oriented R&D.

A few weeks ago, the 2nd European Consulting Committee of EUREKATourism has been organized in Nice, France. Amazing, it was just amazing…

The first evening, we were invited to a gala dinner organized by “Rendez-vous en France”. This year, the biggest trade fair in France counted on more than 800 tour-operators from all around the world. The cocktail and dinner at the Acropolis were impressive from the beginning to the end, with two huge articulated dragons at the entrance door, dancers, tambours and musicians everywhere. Arriving in front of the Acropolis was as astonishing as being suddenly in a Carnival.
Then we got in and managed (I don’t really know how) to find all the Members of the Committee in this big crowd. Cocktail, classy dinner, animations, dancing, everything was ready for more than 1000 attendants.

One of the main goals of the EUREKATourism initiative is to encourage and facilitate the alliance between companies and organisations to collaborate on innovative projects of Technology and Tourism.
Because EUREKATourism allows participants to meet other organisations of their interest, next March 31st, in Nice, France, all the Members of our Consulting Committee (represented in 11 European countries) will be available to meet French entities interested in the programme and in launching new projects.

The EUREKA network (39 countries and the European Union) officially approved the joining of a new member to the EUREKATourism initiative. Switzerland, through the Research and Development Consortium "TourEspace" is from February 3rd the new Member of our European Consulting Committee.
